My United States

It's hard to make history and civics relevant and interesting to many students. Motheread,Inc. has developed a compelling curriculum and training to meet this need. Correlated to both CASAS competencies and the U.S. Citizenship Test questions, The My United States curriculum helps students develop a personal perspective and context for learning about history, government, and community life. During the twelve hour training, instructors learn how to: integrate civics education into a literacy course and motivate students to learn information required to pass the Adult High School Diploma program or citizenship test.
