Keeping It Real: Contextualized Instruction

Keeping It Real:  Contextualized Instruction helps instructors become partners with their students, tying real world applications to basic skills content.  It integrates contextual teaching with more traditional methods to enhance student motivation and skills gain.

The goal of this curriculum is to teach strategies for classroom instruction and principles for effective adult learning. The lessons help instructors link student goals to skill mastery and use the elements of contextual teaching.
